The new 2023 Kia Telluride SUV offers Fargo drivers style, practicality, and performance. Drivers can also expect an intuitive infotainment system with a variety of features to improve the cabin climate or access beneficial controls while on the go. Whether you're seeking a new SUV or a used Kia Telluride, you'll get a great slate of features to improve your journeys around Briarwood. We welcome you to explore all our great Telluride models at Kia of Fargo.

Pristine Performance and Seamless Handling

Every 2023 Kia Telluride SUV features a 3.8-liter V6 engine that offers 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. All-wheel drive is an available upgrade to the drivetrain system, and an eight-speed automatic transmission system is a standard feature. This configuration allows the SUV to have passing power when needed as well as boast a maximum towing capacity of 5,500 pounds when properly configured. Furthermore, drivers can expect smooth rides around Grand Forks because of the stable construction and a suspension system that easily soaks up imperfections on the road.

A Modernized Exterior and Interior Vehicle Design

With newly redesigned front and rear bumpers and grilles, plus sleeker 18-20-inch wheels, drivers can anticipate a highly functional, comfortable, and stylish mid-size SUV from our Kia Telluride lineup. The interior cabin space offers a maximum cargo capacity of up to 87 cubic feet when all rear seats are down. The interior materials are high-quality, regardless of trim level. Additionally, the seating options are supportive of the driver and passengers.

Intuitive Technology That Enhances the Driving Experience

Standard technological systems include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth connectivity for easy smartphone integration. Navigation in the 2023 Kia Telluride is possible through the standard wide 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Available interior upgrades for your drives to Moorhead include a rear-seat entertainment system, wireless device charging, and a panoramic sunroof option. Communicating with passengers in the back rows is possible with the available Driver Talk feature.

Provided Safety Features

Drivers have a bevy of standard safety features provided to them, such as forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and smart cruise control. Highway driving assist technology uses automation to help drivers control their vehicles better when changing lanes or avoiding obstacles when traveling. Convenient safety features also include standard automatic high-beam headlights as well as a rear-seat alert to warn drivers about leaving passengers or items in the back seat.

Kia Telluride vs. Toyota Highlander

  • Telluride's cabin is spacious and inviting, with stylish design details, high-quality materials, and large windows that provide excellent visibility and contribute to a feeling of openness. Rear-seat occupants will also appreciate the extra roominess Telluride offers compared to the Toyota Highlander. Second-row passengers will have an additional 1.4-inches of legroom, while third-row riders get nearly four inches more legroom.

  • Kia's largest model comes standard with many amenities that are only optional on the Highlander. Telluride's base trim includes features like a Driver Talk cabin intercom, a 10.25-inch touchscreen Navigation system, synthetic leather upholstery, and USB charge ports in all three rows. These features require a higher trim on the Highlander.

  • Both models offer several advanced driving aids in their base configuration, including collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control, and lane-following/lane-keeping assist. However, Telluride's standard features list is more comprehensive, adding blind-spot warning and intervention, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic braking, safe-exit assist, rear parking sensors, and driver attention warning. All of these either require a higher trim on Highlander or aren't available at all.

Kia Telluride vs. Honda Pilot

  • The Kia Telluride is bold and stylish, with a rugged exterior aesthetic that evokes a strong presence. The Honda Pilot is more akin to a lifted minivan in comparison. Telluride also has eight inches of ground clearance and standard front and rear skid plates, making it the more capable option away from the asphalt.

  • The Honda Pilot joins Telluride in having a more accommodating third row than many class competitors. However, Telluride is roomier elsewhere in the cabin, especially in the second row, where it offers a full four inches more legroom than the Pilot.

  • Both models offer generously equipped base trims. However, the Kia Telluride is available at starting MSRP of more than $4,500 below the Pilot. Telluride also has several standard features that require climbing the Pilot's trim ladder or aren't offered at all. Examples include a 10.25-inch Navigation touchscreen, Highway Driving Assist, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, a cabin intercom system, and Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control-Curve with Stop & Go.

Kia Telluride vs. Hyundai Palisade

  • The Kia Telluride and Hyundai Palisade are corporate cousins built on the same platform. As such, they offer somewhat similar experiences. However, some drivers may prefer Telluride for its more rugged aesthetic.

  • While both SUVs are nicely equipped, Telluride offers a few more standard amenities. Telluride LX includes features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen navigation system and a Driver Talk in-car intercom, which are optional for the Palisade's second tier and standard on higher trims. Dual-zone automatic climate control is standard on Telluride and a second-tier feature on Palisade. And Telluride comes standard with SynTex synthetic leather upholstery, while the Palisade has standard cloth seats.
