Kia is breaking out of their everyday-commuter-car box with the K9. In short, it's the brand's dream car realized.
As there are currently no other luxury automakers available in the new Kia lineup, Kia of Fargo has no choice but to compare it to competitors. With elegant lines; a bow-tie inspired grill; wrap-around headlights; dramatic, long hood; contrasting, short rear end; dynamic metal-to-glass ratio that speaks to safety; and confidence-boosting all-wheel drive, it looks like a carefully-crafted cross between the Mercedes S-Class and BMW 7 Series. One might say, it's where sophisticated and sexy meet.
Already we're head-over heels for the Kia K9. With any luck, Kia will decide to grow availability of the desirable model outside of South Korea later this year. Among the many features you have to look forward to include:
- World-class design defined by LEDs, shiny chrome accents, and sleek bumper-integrated muffler
- Lane Departure Warning System
- Radar-based Blind-Spot Detection system
- Concert-inspired, 17-speaker Lexicon sound system, by Harmon
- Smart Cruise Control
- Four-camera, Around-View monitor
- Available engines: 4.6-liter V8 and 3.8-liter V6
- Transmission: 8-speed automatic
Sounds good, doesn't it? Trust us, in person, it's even better.
To learn more about the Kia K9 (reported to wear the Cadenza nameplate in the U.S.), be sure to stay tuned. Kia of Fargo has our finger on the pulse and promises to provide updates as soon has Kia shares official plans for availability. Should that include a definitive green-light for the U.S., we also vow to bring you specs surrounding the North American-bound model's fuel economy and power output.
