The Kia Sorento has a heartier 2.5-liter turbocharged engine, producing 281 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. The mid-size SUV's standard powertrain, a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, achieves 191 horsepower and 182 pound-feet of torque.
The Kia Sportage lands halfway between its siblings for performance output. The base 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine delivers 181 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque, while the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine produces 240 ponies and 260 pound-feet of torque.
